People tell their own stories; there is no voice-over. Instead, the makers aim to give the programme a contemporary feel through a distinctive visual style and plenty of up-to-date music from the BR youth channel Puls.DWDL

SYNOPSIS

A new job, a new love, a new family member—there are a thousand reasons to move. But moving almost always means a major upheaval in one’s life. The documentary series UMZUG! follows people candidly and on an equal footing as they leave the familiar behind and embark on something new.
